Completely understandable...it just seems like you are always the one staying at his house and catering to his needs...I know this is new and hopefully he will come around and stay at your house.  Who cares if there isn't any big bars or clubs near your house.  Being with YOU should be enough...I definatley understand the distance thing..it's def more convenient..

Well I know I have 2 more entires til I catch up but here goes...

You have every reason to be reserved with Tim.  When you get burned and as bad as you did in the past it's only natural.  The problem with you and I are that we are people pleasers.  We want to make others happy and in the meantime we are not getting what we need.  Once in awhile we want people to be with us or come to us.  The hard part about that is we never speak our mind.  We hold it inside and just move on pleasing everyone else but ourselves.  Who suffers at the end?  We do.  I think that you should talk to Tim but not all at once.  I agree that you both should talk about your past and how you were hurt and from that you are much more reserved.  I think Tim needs to understand that once in awhile he has to give you a little more like come to your house or take you on a date.  Every relationship whether its friendship or lovers has expectations.  Does it mean he has to marry you tomorrow, of course not.  But when you get to a point where you guys talk about what you want and expect out of this it will be much clearer.

Tim knows what a great catch you are.  What he doesn't know is how fragile you are.  How would he?  He doesn't see that side of you, not a lot of people do.  You've trained yourself to be the strong one, go with the flow type of girl..but deep down you have needs.  I think basing your relationship with him on friendship is the key.  You both need to talk to each other and be open.  Of course your not going to profess your love to him tomorrow but expressing your feelings will help you. 

You know everyone has been through some type of heartbreak.  Whether it was by a boyfriend, husband, father, brother, sister, friend, family etc doesn't lesson the pain.  What will help is making it through that heartbreak, learning your mistakes, learning their mistakes and making the best of you.  You've done this already but what is missing is you moving on from that heartbreak.  Breaking down those walls holding you in.  Sometimes getting over the fear of heartbreak is facing a new adventure.  Who's to say you will absolutely fall in love with Tim but if you don't open up you may regret it.  I'm here for you girl and I'm sorry this was so long.

Don't you just love when your friends pull this shit?  Seriously, I was in the same spot you were in..being the pleaser and making sure everyone else (but me) was happy.  When you hold your feelings in it's you who suffers...I know this all too well..Once you realize that you can see who your true friends are.  I find it soo odd how Lace only wanted to hang out when you were going out to clubs and bars...it's soo like my friend Patty...I'll be her wingman at bars...when I stopped going every weekend (at the expense of my marriage) she stopped calling...let me tell you how much that really hurts.  It feels like you are being used and that's not right... The thing that pisses me off is that you planned the date around her schedule..I think she realized how upset you were and will probably come through...but to even get to this point is not right.  Really..you don't plan something w/your bf and say oh I'm only staying a little while b/c I have other plans...that is sooo effing rude!  I always try to treat my friends the way I want to be treated...and what Lace is doing to you is not what you deserve.  I think you saw her true colors on 4th of July (were they red, white and blue? hee hee).  And now..she's just being a bitch!  Great song choice!

Hey pretty girl!  Well I have to say that I know exactly what you mean with your whole self doubt.  It's so hard seeing what other people see.  We all have our own issues within ourselves that no one can grasp, no matter what people say about our personalities or beauty...it's how we see ourselves.  I don't know how Tim is feeling but what you two shared on Monday should not be overlooked.  I know Tim knows what an amazing person you are inside and out.  He would not have openned up to you.  You are feeling a little disappointed as you should b/c he hasn't contacted you.  I'm sure there is a good reason.  Even if he does not have good phone etiquitte you should not doubt yourself. 

You are a beautiful woman!  The confidence you have is undeniable (even if your mind tries to tell you something else!)..We all have our weak moments and no matter how beautiful other people are..they have their own issues as well.  If Tim is not the guy for you it's ok..You have to love yourself no matter what...and the relationship must be a two way street!  I'm here for ya girl....believe me when I say how beautiful a person you truly are!  Love ya!

The reason they don't matter is because you obviously have some valuable lessons to learn from this situation.  I was stuck in this rut for a while not too long ago.  Maybe he's here as a test of your confidence.  ;-)

The point is, this guy is just a pawn for you to realize something in yourself that you are neglecting, a place you need to nourish and let grow.  Be nice to you when you are naked.  :-)  We're all just animals anyway. 

I think you should can the idea of anything happening with guy until he makes some sort of move.  You already worry about how to act, what to do, what to say, pushing limits, so and so forth.. that's already setting a potential relationship on grounds of half-truths. 

Anyway...you seem chemically addicted to this guy, lol.... and you're being crazy.  :)  I didn't say that in my original message, but somebody's got to tell you.  What are you really getting out of this?  Or are you the type who can't let go of a challenge?  THAT I understand.  :-)
